How Coding Agents Actually Work: Tools, MCP, and the Agent Loop
What happens inside a coding agent: how it talks to the language model, how tools and MCP give it access to your code, and how the agent loop keeps it going. At the end, we build a basic coding agent in C#. I have given this talk more than 10 times.

Do you give talks on-site and remotely?
Yes, both. For on-site talks I travel in Sweden and abroad.
How long are the talks?
Usually 45–60 minutes.
Do you give talks in Swedish and English?
Yes, in either language. The slides are in English.
We have an internal conference. Can you come and speak?
Yes. I often do half or full days on a few selected topics. Contact me for more information.
Where can I see you speak?
I have spoken at NDC Copenhagen, Øredev, Swetugg and Tech Passion Day in Copenhagen, and at many user groups. If you are in the south of Sweden, come to a .NET Skåne meetup in Malmö. I co-founded the user group.
Can you coach me to become a speaker?
Yes. I often coach new speakers, many of them before they speak at a .NET Skåne meetup.
